2. project> make a new label track
*remember to bring earphones

bench press tool: can shift your music left and right
eye beam tool: is the selection tool
envelope tool: click multiple times to bring up points
pencil tool: shape the wave
multi tool: combines all the tools

DROP SHADOW AND REFLECTION

1. put all layers into one folder name it iPod
2. make a duplicate of that folder
3. name the two extra folders: reflection and shadow
4. merge the layers by right clicking
5. ctrl+t and flip vertically
6. put a mask on your reflection
7. use gradient tool
*must be transparent and less opaque than the original
8. take shadow layer and ctrl+click on the icon of your layer
9. edit> fill> black
10. filter> blur> gaussian blur

1. Hierachy - organizing things from most important to least important
2. Focal Point- Strongest and most compelling element in design
3. Eyepath - is a strong composition that can guide the reader's eye through the path/design ex. (we read:top left to top down)
4. Proportion - size of elements relative to one another.
5. Visual Weight - the lightness or darkness of colour
6. Type as a visual element
7. Allignment (grid) - to have order and rhythm, make the photo look organized, and group designs

PHOTOSHOP NOTE #4

move photo onto background using move tool
edit free transform: ctrl>t transforms the shape, hold down shift when using transform
zoom out if you can't see transform handles
when your done transforming click enter
brushes: left bracket smaller, right bracket bigger (square brackets)
use a hard brush around hard objects, hold down shift (zoom in)
to blend something, use soft brush with low opacity
